Lovely big church. Good landmark for the local area. Gives a lot back to the local community. If you go to church check this one out one sunday. The people are very friendly and welcoming
This beautiful church was standing unused and unloved in the 60s when I arrived from Yorkshire to make my home in in Great Yarmouth. Shortly afterwards it was taken over by the thriving Greek Community in the town who breathed new life into the building, and now there is a variety of classes an events which take place there regularly.The building functions as a community hall and a Greek school as well as hosting Greek dance classes. Regular Greek dinner and dances are held, raising funds for charity. The Church celebrated 50 years as a Greek Orthodox Church in 2015.
