5 stars for the food but 1 star for the decor and the terrible lighting. I eat and cook a lot of curries and the food was truly outstanding. Each dish was individually and cleverly spiced and very flavourful. Please just get rid of the headache-inducing flashing lights and the giant projector screen. You don't need them! Let the delicious food speak for itself instead.
Absolutely shocking service. We were a group of 12 and no effort was made to make us feel welcome. There were no glasses on table, food didn't come with serving spoons and pretty much everything we asked for they didn't have! I had a young baby with me and absolutely no kindness related to children issues. The person taking our order (the owner I think) was so rude it was ridiculous. The 1 star is for the food - which was actually really really tasty!
Excellent visit today - 5* food & service. Visiting Great Yarmouth for the weekend with the wife - saw good reviews so thought it'd be good to give it a go.We were warmly greeted by a waiter and shown to our table very swiftly. Starters - we went for the mixed platter. Good selection of items, flavoursome and hot.Mains - we decided on 2 different biryani dishes. King prawn & mixed which consisted of lamb, chicken and prawns. Good rice to meat ratio. Portion size was way too much for both of us and couldn't finish it.Desserts - no space for any solid desserts so went for teas. Lovely accompanied with mints.If I'm back in Great Yarmouth I will be visiting for sure.
Excellent food and fantastic value. We used trip advisor to find this place and were thoroughly impressed. Totally recommended.
