This is a fascinating museum charting the history of Lord Nelson from childhood to his national acclaim in later life. Very well worth a visit and part of English Heritage I believe.
Been to Great Yarmouth many times but unfortunately I hadn't heard of this place until last week when I visited with my daughter and grandchildren. With 3 generations visiting at one time we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it. My grandaughter ESME loved dressing up but not too much as Nelson though. I also would like to mention the staff that were working there that particular day (30/10/18) were excellent and very professional and great with my grandchildren which made our visit extra special.
A nice museum with a great way to engage children using dice hidden in cabinets that require children to search for the dice. The inactive section is good, too.
This was interesting for me and a great visit for a 5year old and 2year old.
Very interesting Parking nearby (pay and display).Lots to see Probably best for adults and older children 7+
