Lukewarm Latte in the cafe. Called in to get a few bits of shopping, selection as always was great. Treating ourselves to a coffee afterwards we were very disappointed by the lukewarm Latte (and at 2.75 would have expected it to be hot!). Not impressed!
A nice, bright, modern, well-stocked store dedicated to M&S food lines. Staff are smiley, welcoming and attentive - even though it's self-service. There are manned as well as self-service checkouts and the store is wheelchair friendly with level access from the ample and free car park at the edge of town. Bargains too in the shape of muli-buy deals and short-dated reductions. Something for all here I think, and well worth a look. Although traffic access to the strip mall type location could be improved; it feels as if it has fallen victim to its own success as, at times, the traffic entering and exiting the car park can be extremely busy.
Excellent food hall. We went in the evening so it was not busy and there were good reductions on bakery items!
Often nipped into the big M&S in the town before it closed. Been to this one on Gapton a couple of times and really can't say I'm a massive fan and wasn't really overwhelmed with the range and not cheap.... But I guess I I've never been a big M&S shopper, clearly this store will not be changing my mind either.
Really good quality food at prices which don't seem much higher than the big supermarkets.And really surprised this evening when I called in for some bread and breakfast cereal, they are open till 9pm all this week in the run up to Christmas.
