Thank you, Natalie the lady we met in the giftshop, your museum is a wonderful peice of history, I felt deeply honoured to have gotten to see it, I appreciate and love the culture and artifacts of England, and it is with great joy that I saw them , as art history was my favorite class in college and I appreciate the intense work it took artisans many thousands of hours to create these objects of rare art and beauty that we get the benefit of seeing now. Again, thank you so much , from Earl David and myself, we had a truly great day learning about the history of this great house museum.
Well worth a visit. Much more down to earth than many grand houses run by the NT. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of hands on stuff in the kitchen as well as dressing up for the kids. Superb couple of hours.
Great place for adults and children a very tactile museum from herb garden to being able to feel and the see the exhibits . With plenty of things to do see and follow. There are clothes to dress up in and a play/learning area with toys and learning ideas for the kids.Well worth a visit, friendly helpful staff would visit again
A good museum well organised. The staff are very knowledgeable glad we visited. Lots to do and look at. Can easily be viewed in an hour and would highly recommend.
Finally made the effort to visit and glad I did, it was worth having a look around. Visit was made more interesting by wartime event, an informative and entertaining visiting soldier was great with the kids, but really only need an hour or so in house. Free to national trust members.
