It's amazing. But the heated swimming pool isn't very heated, plus sometimes there can be music which causes disturbance with my younger cousins. Also, concerning the fire, it says fires are not permitted yet people still light them. Other than these few things the campsite is great!!
A very good campsite. Flat well maintained grass. Clean facilities. Heated outdoor pool. Has a mix of marked out pitches and camp anywhere field. Jolly farmer pub nearby has good food and beer. A nice relaxed spot.
Just fell in love with the place since 2003 and since growing to a family of 4 the kids love it too. I can trust they will be safe to go to the park and shop for a treat by themselves. The shop owner is very friendly and since had 12 holidays there trusted too. Giving the kids money skills and confidence. its like home from home for us would never camp anywhere else.
Really nice small place to stay. Good facilities. Only downsides we experienced are a bit too 'that will do' ball games area (with a tree in the middle and no fence around) and only 1 key for toilets (that makes mornings a bit stressful in mixed sex families or when for example some are on the pool and some went for a walk with a dog). Overall very much recommended and will be back.
We loved it here. It's a small, quiet campsite and the owners are lovely and very helpful. The campsite is flat and the pitches are very well kept. We were pleased with the facilities, which are cleaned very early in the morning and then checked on throughout the day. The campsite is a great point from which to explore nearby beaches and towns. We will definitely be back in the summer holidays.
