Had on going problems with my eyes can't thank eye clinic and Windsor suite enough Mr butler and his team bloody marvellous bless you all and a sincere thank you to everyone
I recently had to stay overnight in this hospital after having a TIA. The staff were so caring and kind. I was in a state about going on to a Stroke ward as a person of younger years than most people on the ward but the staff were really aware and thoughtful. They work incredibly hard under extremely difficult circumstances. We are very lucky to have people who genuinely care for others and who work in this industry with such low funding. Thank you.
I attended the James paget accident and emergency department on Friday at 7.00pmI was seen promptly and the care I received was excellent.I do not live in Great Yarmouth but own a holiday home here so spend a lot of time here my experience of this hospital is great the staff were friendly, caring and explained clearly what the problem was.For all the people that moan about this hospital you do not know how lucky you are!!!People are seen by the seriousness of there complaint, so if you did have a long wait perhaps it was not A&E you needed and could have used another service instead.Thank you James Paget and to all the amazing staff that work there.Keep up the good work
Visited the hospital today to see a friend and we needed something to eat and drink so visited the Aubergine Restaurant. Food was good and there is a choice of hot food or baguettes, sandwiches and cakes. Hot and cold drinks readily available, (the Mocha was hot and delicious). Compared to the old Paget Cafe this place is refreshing and much more up to date, a pleasure to sit and have a drink and bite to eat with family or friends. Bright and modern although the restaurant is located upstairs on the first floor which can be accessed via stairs or a lift. On the ground floor there is also a M&S Food To Go shop once again bright, modern and clean with hot and cold drinks but mostly sandwiches and salad snack foods available. To add doctors and nurses we're great too and the hospital is clean and modern. Five stars all round.
We had a child in Ward 10. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The nurses and nurse practitioner especially were amazing. The doctor was knowledgeable but sympathetic. The ward was clean, but friendly and playful for children. There were lots of toys in different areas. Easy access to toilets. And we had a visit from the Clown Doctors, which was full-stop the high-point of our child's day.
