This hotel is pretty cheap in terms of whats about in Great Yarmouth. Its located right along the seafront near attractions such as the Pleasure Beach and the Sea Life Centre. Its also right near all of the amusement arcades too. From the start to the finish, I could not fault the staff, they were down to earth, friendly and efficient. We needed a bulb replacing in our room, it was done within 5 minutes of the call being made. The room itself was a little dated, however for the price we paid, I wasnt expecting more than we got. The room including the bed was clean. The only downsides were that the bed was the most comfortable and you could hear other guests...its a hotel, it was and shouldnt be a deal breaker. Give this place a go when youre in Yarmouth and try their other rooms to see what you think. We were in room 112. Just to add our view was of the garden in which they had chickens (we didnt hear them at all).
This was or 4th year running at The Comfort Hotel for our company conference. The staff are superb, so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is great and substantial. Its so good, we've booked again for next year....our 5th year running.Special mention to Wayne, who was on hand the whole weekend to ensure the conference ran smoothly and for his fantastic quiz during our Friday night social
The staff are GREAT and could not be more helpful. The atmosphere is friendly but professional and the food is as good as you will eat in a high end restaurant in the centre of London!Some of the rooms may be looking a little tired but they seem to be being upgraded each year. This was my 5th year that I stayed at this hotel but I don't spend a lot of time in my room, so providing my bed is comfortable (which it was), who really cares what the room looks like as the staff make a hotel.Cannot speak highly enough about the staff which made my stay enjoyable yet again!
Friendly staff, family room spacious, to say room we had has been updated it does not look it- carpet outdated- decor outdated- picture on wall looks provocative to be in family room, Windows could do with updating they are single glazed and not seen these type since early 90s, only good thing about room is bed was comfyAlso maybe look into sound proofing hotel so noisy had to complainAlso even though room updated with fancy new gadgets in bathroom not any of them was full of soap or anything
Warm greeting on arrival. Went to room and it was cold put radiator on had a long wait for room to warm up. Normally if hotels know they have a guest coming room would be warm. Carpet in room stained where people had walked . Needs replacing. Had a good sleep though. Won't be returning had better hotels that were cheaper. Staff were excellent
