Really nice brand new premier inn. Staff were wonderful and helpful. It was a little noisy with people clomping around on the floor above, but nothing to really moan about.
Hotel great brewers fayre restaurant attached not so great
My husband & I decided to go & visit family so this hotel was top of our list to book as it was the closest & had good reviews.However it turned out to be a nightmare to book.We wanted 1 double room for 1 night with breakfast.We thought we would like breakfast for ourselves & 3 extra family members.We had to contact the hotel direct to do this....we rang the hotel via 0871 number advertised & were told 13p a minute plus extra network charges.We were on the line listening to introduction then onto dialling tone(with no answer)then background music, so we hung up at a cost of 3.We then tried contacting reservations (just to get an answer)& we got through ....only for Catherine to tell us we were through to wrong department & she would put us through to the right department.We told her we've been waiting & waiting to get through & she said because of the inconvenience they would let us book room on 'saver''booking.She did inform us there was a queue & we would be waiting 4 minutes to get through,so we went with it.16 minutes later got through to diane.Diane said we could book room for the 2 of us & include breakfast for following day for 5 of us but not at 'saver' price.To say it gave us both a headache is an understatement!!!! We had to then go back online to book room & breakfast for ourselves & have been told that we can add 3 extra family members when we check in....fingers crossed.
Called in to ask about a room for the night when the Xmas lights get switched on. Never been greeted with such warmth and welcome. We were shown a room by a lovely lady. We have now booked the room. This is our first stay at premier Inn. Will definitely not be our last.
Lovely spotless room, every one is friendly. Really comfy bed. Only down side pillows not great but we were given extra ones . I love love the premier inns x
